Eudora Configuration


Step-by-step guide on how to configure your Eudora email client to work with your web-based email account

Step 1: Open Eudora and go to the Tools menu. Select Personalities.

Step 2: Right-click on the newly opened sub window, and choose New.

Step 3: Choose Create a brand new personality (some version may show Create a brand new mail account).

Step 4: Username: please use the full e-mail account name. Example: you@yourdomain.com instead of you.

Step 5: Incoming Server - yourdomain.com. Server type is POP

Step 6: Outgoing mail server (SMTP server): yourdomain.com Please select the Allow authentication option.

Step 7: Now right-click on the newly created account and choose Properties. Please set the Secure sockets when sending to Never. Secure sockets when receiving should also be set to Never.

Step 8: You are done! Please make sure that you check your incoming e-mail messages before trying to send any.
