Upload Using Dreamweaver

To upload your Website using Dreamweaver you must first define the remote FTP location.

• Please open the Dreamweaver program from your desktop. Go to Site------>Define Sites.
• Select your site from the list and double-click to open the definition box.
• Select 'Local Info' from the Category Box.
• Enter your HTTP address in the Link Management Options as shown. HTTP Address: http://yourname.netfirms.com
• Select 'Web Server Info' from the Category box.
• In the Web Server Access box Select 'FTP.' Enter your FTP Account information
  FTP Host: yourname.netfirms.com Host Directory www/ User: yourname Pass: your password Once you have entered your FTP account information, please then click OK. You have now set up the remote location! You must now upload your site to our servers. Here are the steps to upload your site:
• Open your site in Dreamweaver.
• From the left-hand side (Remote Site) you will see the www folder from our server. When you see this folder you have connected to our site.
• Highlight all of the files you wish to upload and then drag and drop them onto an open area in the left-hand panel so that you upload the files into your WWW directory.
• Your files will upload instantly onto your site.
• REMEMBER to name your homepage index.htm (all lowercase) for your site to be visible. This will overwrite the default index.htm file we provide for you.
• Once you have finished uploading your files, go to your site and visit your finished product!
