E-mail filtering

E-mail filtering allows you to select messages that contain certain string of text or other symbols, and either discard (not show) them, or send them to another e-mail box of your choice.

Login to your cPanel and click the Mail icon. Then select the Email Filtering option and after that the Add Filter link. Select the criteria you wish to use: sender address, recipient, subject, content, etc.

Then pick:

• the string to match,
• make an exact match to the string,
• the string to begin with the phrase you enter in the third box.

Lastly, put a destination in the box on the second row: Discard will simply throw away the messages that match your filter. Another e-mail address is also a valid destination. Please note that e-mail filtering does not leave a copy of the e-mail in the box you apply the filter for.
